We would like to invite you to our panel discussion at AATSP 2016, where we will discuss the National Examination in World Languages: Portuguese. Endorsed by the College Board, NEWL is an online proficiency exam for high school students pursuing advanced college placement or credit.
Join our panel experts on Friday, July 8 at 1:00 p.m. as they discuss the exam's design, administration, test taker eligibility, and challenges Portuguese learners face and how to overcome them. Additionally, our featured panelists will discuss the impact of language assessment on dual immersion language programs and heritage communities, and students' articulation to college level language programs.
