Young Professional Internships Program (YPIP)

The Young Professional Internships Program (YPIP) is a new initiative that helps build U.S.-style internship programs within Uzbek businesses and organizations. This eight-week program will serve as a pipeline between Uzbekistan universities and students and local Uzbekistan businesses that wish to attract and develop young talent in a summer internship. YPIP is designed to expand the professional capacity and network of young professionals in the areas of business and STEM and empower participants with the tools needed to become self-reliant learners.

The full-time internship is only one component of the experience. Interns will work within a cohort and in teams, improve and practice business English, participate in professional development events, meet industry leaders, and access a valuable network as program alumni. American Councils believes that the YPIP model provides a meaningful, positive experience for both interns and host companies.
