American Councils President Dan E. Davidson was a guest-speaker at the Global University Summit Opening on "The Global University as Premier Platform for Innovation: Striking a Balance between Basic and Applied Science," hosted by the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) on April 24-25, 2014. Dr.Davidson spoke at the first plenary session alongside Russia's Deputy Minister of Education and Science, and four Rectors of Russia's leading research universities. Dr. Davidson also delivered a plenary presentation on the second day at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST MISiS).
