April 20th, 2015

Dear American Councils,

My name is Djordje Petkovic. I am the CEO of a mobile games and apps development company Peaksel D.O.O. in Nis, Serbia. I am writing this letter in order to give my support to the continuation of the A-SMYLE Program, funded by the US Department of State and run by your organization.

Not one, but three A-SMYLE alumni, Snezana Djuric, Maja Ignjatovic, and Milos Radovanovic, are employed at our company. We received over 200 applications for three job openings at our growing company in the past year. I do not think it is a coincidence that we hired three A-SMYLE alumni to fill the positions. Snezana, Maja, and Milos all had exceptional resumes, performed well during all rounds of testing, and showed great communication and people skills at the interview.

Moreover, these alumni are now a valuable asset to our team. The teamwork, leadership, and initiative they show are of enormous significance to our company. Our marketing team has been doing an excellent job since we hired the three A-SMYLE alumni. In addition, I know that all them participate in volunteer activities to help the society of Nis.

Again, I do not think it is a coincidence that we hired three A-SMYLE alumni in the past year. I believe that the program teaches its participants to be leaders and team players while also encouraging them to be humble, ambitious, and contributors to society.

I would like to, in the name of myself and in the name of Peaksel D.O.O., give support to the continuation of the A-SMYLE Program, so Nis and the rest of Serbia can continue to cultivate successful young leaders with the help of American Councils and the US Department of State.

Sincerely,

Djordje Petkovic

CEO
Peaksel D.O.O.
