Enjoy the artistry of Russian chamber music in Washington, D.C. this upcoming fall.

The Russian Chamber Art Society concert series is dedicated to bringing this beautiful but rarely heard repertoire to concert halls across North America. Founded and directed by Vera Danchencko-Stern, the 2016-17 concert series is sure to delight concertgoers and appreciators of Russian vocal chamber music, especially in the genre of Russian "romance" art songs, which are virtually absent from the concert halls.

The Russian Chamber Art Society will celebrate the opening of its 11th season in Washington, D.C. with a magical Gala concert of excerpts from the opera "Eugene Onegin", featuring Yana Eminova (soprano), Magdalena Wor (mezzo-soprano), Timur Bekbosunov (tenor), Timothy Mix (baritone), Vera Danchenko-Stern (piano), Genady Zagor (piano) and Rick Foucheux (narrator).

Enjoy the artistry of these performers in Tchaikovsky's most celebrated opera amid the delightful surroundings of the French Embassy in Washington, D.C.
