American Councils for International Education is pleased to welcome Anna Bryndza to its Board of Trustees. Bryndza serves as Executive Vice President, International, at UxC, LLC, a leading provider of market research and analysis for the global nuclear energy industry. She brings more than two decades of experience in energy policy, global nuclear fuel markets, and international business.
Recognized for her expertise in nuclear power and fuel developments in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Bryndza has helped expand UxC’s presence across Eurasia. She also played a key role in establishing UxNuclear Weekly, an analytical publication covering developments in the nuclear fuel industry. Through her work, she has helped provide market intelligence and strategic analysis that support secure and reliable energy supply chains and informed policymaking.
"Bryndza's deep knowledge of Eurasia, experience working across international markets, and understanding of the political and economic forces shaping the region will bring valuable perspective to American Councils’ work in many of the countries we serve," says Lisa Choate, President and CEO of American Councils.
Prior to joining UxC, Bryndza worked at several Washington, D.C.-based think tanks focused on geopolitics, international political economy, and energy issues in Eurasia.
Bryndza’s connection to American Councils began 30 years ago when she participated in the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program from Ukraine. She credits the experience with shaping her educational and professional path and deepening her appreciation for international education.
“Bryndza understands firsthand the value of international exchange,” adds Ambassador John Ordway, Chair of the American Councils Board of Trustees. “Her journey from FLEX participant to Trustee reflects the lasting impact these programs can have on individuals and the communities they go on to serve.”
As a member of the Board of Trustees, Bryndza will contribute her expertise in international business, strategic leadership, and global affairs while helping advance American Councils’ mission of innovating at the intersection of education, economic growth, and diplomacy. Her appointment also reflects the important role alumni play in guiding the organization’s future.
American Councils is honored to welcome Bryndza to the Board of Trustees and looks forward to the leadership and perspective she will bring in support of educational and cultural exchange.
