Kosova

American Councils Kosova, headquartered in the heart of Prishtina, was established in 2004 as part of the global American Councils for International Education network. Since its founding, the organization has played a vital role in advancing international educational exchange by administering and supporting a wide range of U.S.-funded and internationally sponsored programs. Through these initiatives, it has provided transformative academic and professional opportunities to hundreds of high school and graduate students, educators, and professionals.

The organization partners closely with the U.S. Embassy in Kosova and maintains strong, long-standing relationships with key national and international stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI), educational institutions, local community organizations, and private-sector partners. Through this collaborative approach, American Councils Kosova advances Kosova’s social and economic development through education.
