A-SMYLE Alumni Meet with the US Ambassador to Serbia

At the end of March, American Councils held the second A-SMYLE Alumni Night in the Belgrade office. American Ambassador to Serbia Cameron Munter came to meet and chat with the 27 alumni in attendance. The alumni came to Belgrade from different parts of Serbia for this unique opportunity to meet and speak directly with the Ambassador.

Ms. White, a junior at the University of South Carolina, is currently studying Russian in St. Petersburg, Russia as part of the Russian Language and Area Studies program.

As the FLEX Alumni Community in Bishkek and across Kyrgyzstan is booming, FLEX Alumni Coordinator Gulnisa Asymova ’05 challenged herself to pursue ways to bring together alumni of various U.S. Government sponsored exchange programs. Her goal was urge all alumni to collaborate in order to strengthen and empower the young leaders of the country.
