Indonesian Overseas Program
Open to students at all proficiency levels, the Indonesian Overseas Program builds cultural knowledge and language competency through the vibrant, rich traditions of Indonesia.
The program was established to serve participants from a variety of language levels and backgrounds, including advanced students and those learning the Indonesian language for the first time.
Indonesian Overseas Program is an intensive semester or academic-year overseas immersion program open to all levels of language learners. Students gain cultural knowledge and language competency while experiencing the vibrant everyday life and rich traditions of Malang, Indonesia.
The program features small class sizes, homestays, regular excursions, cultural activities, and conversation partners. Students receive 18-20 hours of individualized instruction per week and earn 15-16 US academic credits per semester from Bryn Mawr College.
