Dual Language Immersion (DLI) China is an intensive summer language program for high school students with advanced language skills.
Dual Language Immersion (DLI) China is a four-week, intensive summer language program for high school students who have gone through dual language K-12 schools.
Specifically designed for language students who have already passed the AP language exam with a score of 3 or higher, this intensive study abroad program caters to the language proficiency goals of dual language students. In addition to 60 total hours of formal classroom language instruction, DLI China offers students cultural enrichment activities and a research capstone project that aligns with their individual interests. Students live with host families throughout the program for a truly linguistically and culturally immersive experience aimed at taking a strong linguistic foundation to the next level.
With other geographies and languages to follow, this inaugural program offering will be held in China in July 2020 for students studying Mandarin Chinese.
