Business Russian Language and Internship
Prepare for business-level Russian in a global workplace.
Participants gain insight into the global workplace while learning to use Russian in a professional context. BRLI combines intensive Russian language study with a part-time internship at a multinational company or business. The highly individualized curriculum can be tailored to serve participants ranging from intermediate to near-native speakers of Russian.
BRLI is a study abroad offering open to undergraduates, graduate students, and working professionals who have completed at least four semesters of college-level Russian instruction or the equivalent. Participants can opt for a semester, academic year, or summer abroad. The program is hosted by Moscow International University and the Russian State Pedagogical (Herzen) University in St. Petersburg, Russia and at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Program features include homestays, weekly excursions, regional travel, conversation partners, and a wide range of opportunities to pursue hobbies and personal interests in a Russian context.
