The Secondary Academic Cultural Exchange Program is a school-to-school exchange. SACE member institutions are drawn from a pool of US high schools that either teach Russian language or are interested in Eurasian area studies, and that are partnered with schools in Eurasia. Eurasian schools are generally specialized high schools offering advanced English language study. Participants attend classes in their partner schools and live with host families. Host schools offer special language classes to facilitate the students’ adjustment to their new surroundings and their studies to maximize the benefits of their experience abroad. Participating schools have the option of organizing and completing a joint project.
