Kosovo Improvement Through Education (KITE)

Funded By:

Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS)

The Kosovo Improvement through Education (KITE) program aims to facilitate short- to medium-term trainings to improve Kosovar business and NGO performance and offset the impact of the global financial crisis. Trainings are designed based on the needs of selected participants and are likely to focus on information technology, fundraising, strategic planning, governance, communications, budgeting and risk management.

Trainings are available in three forms. Professional development courses at overseas universities, community colleges or training institutes run for up to six months to give staff access to highly technical knowledge about a particular subject. Individualized, in-country coaching sessions are available for one to two weeks to build strategic implementation techniques. Other tailored, short-term training courses are available to build particular skills.

The ultimate goal of the KITE program is to provide businesses and NGOs with the tools necessary to grow successfully.
