Individualized Arabic Language and Culture Program (temporarily suspended)

American Councils and Alexandria University offer individualized instruction in Modern Standard Arabic and Egyptian Colloquial for interested learners prepared to commit 4 – 8 weeks of intensive/immersion study of Arabic in residence in Alexandria, Egypt. Programs consist of individualized or small group tutorials with optional peer tutors, local host families, excursions to points of historical and cultural interest, and volunteer opportunities. Program dates for 2011 are flexible and reflect the Egyptian academic calendar.
