American Councils provides US high schools the opportunity to send eleventh- and twelfth-graders to Eurasia for an academic semester or year. US students must be nominated and recommended by their schools to qualify for the program. Most students who choose to participate in this program have taken Russian language at their high school.

American Councils provides training to Eurasian and American school coordinators, student pre-departure orientations, and administrative support during the student's stay, including airfare, visas and health and accident insurance.
