Three to nine months
Full support, including international travel, housing, insurance, living and housing stipend, academic affiliation(s), language instruction, and a single-entry visa, provided by American Councils through U.S. Department of State (Title VIII) grant support.
October 1st, 2010. Programs must begin must begin between June 2011 and June 2012; and must be completed by September 30, 2012.
U.S. Department of State, Title VIII Program for Research and Training on Eastern Europe and Eurasia (Independent States of the Former Soviet Union).
Funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Title VIII Program for Research and Training on Eastern Europe and Eurasia (Independent States of the Former Soviet Union), the American Councils Combined Research and Language Training (CRLT) Program serves graduate students and scholars who, in addition to support for research in the independent states of the former Soviet Union, require supplemental language instruction.
Programs are available in Central Asia, Russia, the South Caucasus, Ukraine, and Moldova. Those scholars seeking support for research and/or language study in the countries of Southeast Europe should apply to the Title VIII Southeast Europe Research Scholar Program or the Title VIII Southeast Europe Language Training Program.
