Milner and Durov named start-ups that have received private funding

In early December, the founder of investment group DST Yuri Milner and founder of the social network VKontakte Pavel Durov announced the launch of the Start Fellows project to support young Russian developers.

Internet start-ups will receive 25 thousand dollar grants each. The first six winners of the web-based start-up competition were announced in late December. In addition to the grant money, Internet entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to participate in various events with leading Russian and international representatives of the Internet market.
