Educational Seminars Concludes 2009 Programs Providing Exchanges for over 125 Teachers & Principals

In its first year with American Councils, the Educational Seminars Program has successfully concluded its 2009 programs. With funding from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State, Educational Seminars has had the opportunity to work with over 125 teachers and principals from around the world in the last few months. Participants have come from around the world including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Jordan for job shadowing and professional development programs in the United States. United States participants have had the opportunity to travel outside the country for similar programs in Brazil, Greece, India, and Italy.
Educational Seminars administers programs with nine countries including: Argentina, Brazil, Greece, India, Italy, Jordan, Mexico, Thailand and Uruguay. The deadline to apply to host a principal or teacher from Uruguay is December 7, 2009.
