Through the end of 2011, any donation you make to KAEF will be matched, dollar for dollar, by philanthropist George Soros. Mr. Soros has declared a $250,000 Challenge Grant to provide short- and medium-term training to businesses in Kosovo, with the goal of increasing employment opportunities for Kosovars. The grant, made to the Kosovo American Education Fund (KAEF), requires KAEF to raise an equal amount through donations from individuals and businesses in Kosovo and the United States.

KAEF breaks through the barriers facing Kosovo's young people. Now we need your help to ensure a better future for all Kosovars.

The Kosovo American Education Fund Graduate Scholarship Program (KAEF) attacks the root causes of poverty and political instability in Kosovo by providing the next generation of Kosovo's leaders with top-notch educational opportunities in U.S. graduate programs

Since 2004, we've provided 48 full fellowships to Kosovo's best and brightest. Our alumni have returned home to take up important positions in the government, private businesses, and civil society, where they are proving to be the engine of sustainable and positive change.
