Consultancies

American Councils is seeking short- and long-term consultants for potential technical-assistance assignments in one or more of the following countries or regions: Russia, Central Asia, South Caucasus, Western Eurasia, Afghanistan, and the Balkans.

Desired Qualifications

• Education
• Advanced degree in education (doctoral preferred)

Professional Experience

• 5-10 years experience in one or more of the fields listed: Assessment and Quality Assurance, Curriculum Development, Educational Administration, Training of Trainers, English Language Instruction, IT and Distance Learning, Education Policy, Access to Education, Textbooks and Publishing, Vocational Education, Institution Building

Regional Experience

• Work experience in one or more of the following areas: Russia, Central Asia, South Caucasus, Western Eurasia, Afghanistan, and the Balkans.

Language Skills

• Fluency in English is required, competency in Russian or regional languages is desirable.
