Teachers of Critical Languages Program Participant Biographies

Munir Gomaa (Arabic Teacher)

Photo of Munir GomaaMr. Munir is from North Sinai, Egypt and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Education degree from Suez Canal University. He has taught English at El-Tolol Preparatory School since 2008. Mr. Munir is interested in camping, singing, running, and playing football. He is married with twin daughters and a son. By participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program, he hopes to bring innovative Arabic teaching methods to US classrooms. He is looking forward to the opportunity to live and work in an American community and experience the system of education, society, and culture. Mr. Munir is being hosted by Renaissance Academy (674 students and 44 teachers) in Lehi, Utah (pop. 50,000).
