Michal Malouf (Mentor Teacher)
Ms. Malouf is originally from Libby, Montana. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Spanish from the University of Montana. Currently, she teaches Spanish and serves as the Chair of the World Language Department. In addition to teaching, she coordinates the Arabic Language and Culture Program within her school district. Throughout her 20 years of teaching, Ms. Maloud has served on many committees and initiatives aimed at school improvement. Michal began teaching to share her passion for second language learning. Michal has visited Mexico, Spain, Italy, Greece, Great Britain, Japan, Canada, and Egypt. Michal is married with one son. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, and traveling. Among her many accomplishments, she has won the Graduate Teaching Assistant award and the Who’s Who Among American Teachers award, has been a Fulbright Teacher, and has been an interview panelist for the Teachers of Critical Languages Program. She is the current president of the Pacific Northwest Council for Languages.
Ms. Malouf is the mentor teacher for Khalil Nasr from Damanhour, Egypt.
She has previously been a mentor teacher for Mohamed Abdelsamad and Wael Elkhatib
