Abir Malek (Arabic Teacher)

Photo of Abir MalekAbir Abdel-Malek is from the city of Shobra Elkheima and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Ain Shames University. She has been teaching English at Shobra El Khama Sanaweeya el Banat Secondary School for Girls (approximately 1,000 students and 100 teachers) since 1994. Ms. Hassan benefited from a teaching scholarship in England, which included English teaching development and the use of information systems. As a member of the Ministry of Education, she works to improve the teaching of English as a Foreign Language. She was hosted by Silietz Valley Early College Academy in Siletz, Oregon.
