Teachers of Critical Languages Program Mentor Biographies

Tracy Hansen (Mentor Teacher)

Photo of Tracy HansenTracy Hansen is originally from Prior Lake, Minnesota. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Education and Spanish from the University of Minnesota Morris, and then went on to receive her Masters degree in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary’s University. She has been teaching as a Spanish teacher in Scott Highlands Middle School since 1996. Ms. Hansen helps with the Scott Highlands web page and has been a teacher for 16 years. She has also studied in Salamanca, Spain; traveled with family to many European countries; and has taken students to Mexico, Costa Rica and Ecuador. She lives with her husband and two younger sons. When she is not in the classroom, Mrs. Hansen enjoys reading, running and eating.

She was the mentor teacher for Xu Jia during the 2010-2011 academic year.
