The first group asks the other group to do actions, and then they exchange roles again. They have to follow the directions in Arabic when the teacher asks them to do actions.

    Teaching the students about different animals beginning with discussing why most Americans are interested in bringing up pets comparing to our culture in Egypt. The teacher asks them if they have dogs or cats, and if they like them. He shows them more pictures about different animals and they have to repeat. He can relate this lesson to colors asking them what color of each animal, and they have to answer in Arabic. If a zoo is nearby, it is helpful to take them there.

    Teaching the students about birds starting with discussion of different traditions such as why Americans don’t eat pigeons or doves. They begin to ask what we we eat there in Egypt. I can explain the kind of birds I eat showing them the pictures on posters. Again, the teacher relates birds to different colors asking what color of each bird. Some pairs are asked to present questions. He can ask other questions if they eat the bird or not, and they answer in Arabic,” yes or no”.
