A nice trip with a french group

Last week I had a good day with the french staff and students participating in the educational and linguistic exchange between
Lincoln Park High school & Louis Grand High School. We went to Chicago Cultural center and had lunch at Lake Michigan Park.I talk to the french staff . We exchanged greetings in Arabic and French and took many pictures together. It was a very good experience.

A reception party

Last thursday, I was invited to a reception in
honor of the French staff and students.I was
introduced to the people as a TCLP Arabic
teacher. I talked to the French man who is in
charge of the exchange program between my
school and Louis Le Grand High School. We
had some French food for dinner and listened to nice music.

The most memorable day

I didn't know that Obama is from Chicago till I
heard some people at school saying "tonight,
there'll be a big party at Grant Park and that
Obama will be there."Of course, I didn't miss
such a big chance. It was 9:00 pm when I
arrived there. It was as if a final game in the
World Cup for Football. Many of Obama's supporters were holding pictures and flags
watching giant TV screens,cheering,roaring
and screaming. I was in the middle of that
crowd not so far away from the stage.I took
pictures and watched this great event and
listened to Obama's historical speech. It was
a wonderful night. I emailed my family and my
friends in Egypt and told them about this day
November 4,2008 will be my living memory for ever.

High Land Park Strings

Music programs and concerts in Chicago are so interesting and nice.
On Sunday, October 12th, I attended the 30th Anniversary season of the Park District of Highland Park where I listened to a Triple Concerto for Piano, Violin and Violon Cello.
